Associate Editor Opportunity for a SOCIM member

The Section on Complementary and Integrative Medicine (SOCIM) of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has a series as part of the journal Pediatrics in Review. An exciting opportunity is currently available as an Associate Editor for this series.
This is a wonderful opportunity to gain valuable experience editing and working closely with a journal. With a bimonthly submission, you will be able to quickly build your resume without being overloaded. You will also receive good exposure to rigorous scientific content in this field, academic recognition/visibility, and networking with colleagues.
What being an Associate Editor Involves:
-Working closely with the Editor to ensure papers are written, submitted, and reviewed in a timely manner to meet journal deadlines
-Topic organization and discussion with authors re: topic choice
-Editorial assistance for authors with their manuscripts
-Organization of manuscript review by AAP members
